An Inspiration Journey into Northern Kentucky

The Ark Encounter

The Ark Encounter is a one-of-a-kind, historically themed attraction. In an entertaining, educational, and immersive way, it presents a number of historical events centered on Noah’s Ark as recorded in the Bible. As the largest timber-frame structure in the US, the 510-foot-long full-size Ark is designed to be family-oriented, historically authentic, and environmentally friendly. The Ark will equip visitors to understand the creation of the events that are recorded in the book of Genesis.

Inspirational Sights

Take a tour of the beautiful Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption dating back to 1894. The Cathedral Basilica of the Assumption is one of only 35 minor basilicas in the U.S. The gothic architecture has some bizarre and fascinating elements, including being watched over by 26 gargoyles that were all carved in Italy. Before returning home, we will make a stop at the Shrine of Christ’s Passion. Take a leisurely paced walk to see the impressive outdoor display featuring 40 life-sized bronze statues depicting the Stations of the Cross, beginning with the Last Supper and ending with the Garden of Gethesemane, all accompanied by music and narrated at the push of a button.

The Creation Museum

Be prepared to experience history in a completely unprecedented way. This state-ofthe-art 70,000 square foot museum brings to life the pages of the Bible, casting its characters and animals in dynamic form and in familiar settings. Adam and Eve live in the Garden of Eden. Children play and dinosaurs roam near Eden’s Rivers. The serpent coils cunningly in the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil. Majestic murals, great masterpieces brimming with pulsating colors and details, provide a backdrop for many of the settings. The museum has been divided into unusually configured spaces that allow for personal interaction with each of the 160 exhibits. We’ve also included a visit to the Stargazers Planetarium. And, this is just the beginning. There is so much more to do at the Creation Museum.
