A Collection of Ohio’s Frights & Fall Sights - A Badger 99th Anniversary Signature Tour

Hauntingly Good Times

Our welcome dinner is at The Barn Restaurant known for their unique Salad Wagon with over 30 different items, along with a Soup Bar featuring 5 piping-hot soups, bread table and, of course, dessert.  Then we’ll learn about unusual and mysterious stories, legends, myths and more as a guest speaker does a presentation.  From Indian Mounds, tunnels underneath the city, and more you can learn about the many mysteries around this area.  Even Big Foot and UFO sightings.  Tour Malabar Farm’s Big House and enjoy a fall wagon ride. Humphrey Bogart, longtime friend of Louis Bromfield, picked Malabar for the site of his wedding to actress Lauren Bacall. A guided tour of his home and the famous Hollywood couple’s wedding & honeymoon rooms can be seen as  well as the very same piano used for the ceremony is on display!  Many strange activities take place at the farm’s Big House, where Pulitzer prize winner Louis Bromfield once lived. Lights turn on and off by themselves, the large piano in the foyer has played by itself, and some people report uneasy feelings. Is it haunted?  Find out for yourself. Enjoy the stately majesty of times past in a luxurious castle. Located in central Ohio, deep in the heartland of Mohican country and Loudonville, Ohio, the estate offers unprecedented luxury. Enjoy a fabulous dining experience. All are welcome to delight in the world class menu showcased on television by Gordon Ramsay in 2016. Following lunch take a trip back in time to the 1830’s as you embark on a one hour guided haunted history tour of Heyd Cemetery. Learn about the early pioneers of the castle property and the mischievous things they do to the current visitors. Dinner is included at a historic tavern located in Village of Zoar.  Then, we’ll explore the historic haunting of this unique communal village settled in 1817.  Enjoy visiting several buildings and learn more about the ghostly happenings from guides who have experienced them first hand! Our farewell dinner is a real paranormal experience...an evening at the Victorian Mansion.  You will enjoy dinner and an orientation, hear ghost stories from the past and then in small groups you will proceed on a mini ghost walk using paranormal equipment.  The bad news:  there are three other worldly beings - a man, woman and a little girl that are on the loose in the Victorian home. The good news:  they are not evil.
