Featuring Coronado Island, Newport Beach, Naples, Long Beach, Catalina Island and even an optional side trip to Disneyland's Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Coronado Island, CA

Begin your tour of the isles of Southern California on gorgeous Coronado Island, off the coast of San Diego.  Founded in 1880’s, Coronado was a Victorian vacation escape, before finding new fans during the Golden Age of Hollywood. You’ll experience Coronado Island from the Marriott Resort & Spa which has views of the San Diego skyline and the Coronado Bridge.  The hotel is ideally situated to provide easy access to Coronado Beach.  Recharge in spacious hotel rooms with plush bedding, oversized bathtubs and more.  See the gorgeous Hotel Del Mar on Coronado Island, the setting of the famous film, Some Like it Hot

Newport Beach, CA

We’ll make our way to Newport Beach and enjoy a stay at the iconic Hyatt Regency Newport Beach Resort.  This is a hotel retreat adjacent to the Upper Newport Bay Nature Reserve.  Nestled among 26 acres featuring hundreds of palms and a succulent courtyard that is a nod to the California desert.  There are three unique pools, an executive golf course and shopping available.  Celebrate John Wayne’s life and legend aboard his famous former vessel, Wild Goose.  Learn the history of Wild Goose with informal tours of his family staterooms, library, famous card room and salon containing movie posters and priceless paintings by his former wife. After the tour, we'll board another boat for a beautiful dinner cruise.

Naples, CA

The best way to experience the waters of the area is a “Carolina” Venetian Gondola Boat Cruise.  The Gondola Getaway was founded back in 1982 under the concept of bringing the old world charm of the “Gondola” back into the canals of Naples Islands. Gondolas were first introduced into the area back in 1903 when the Islands were developed into a Venetian style neighborhood complete with grand canals and romantic bridges.

The Queen Mary - Long Beach, CA

Back in her heyday, the Queen Mary’s passenger list read like a who’s-who of the silver screen and now you can walk the same decks that Bob Hope, Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby, Elizabeth Taylor, Clark Gable, Audrey Hepburn and so many other Hollywood Celebrities, Dignitaries and British Royalty did.  It’s time to get an up close and personal look at the Queen Mary with a three-night stay.  From the ship’s groundbreaking construction and royal launch as the most luxurious and technologically advanced ocean liner at the time, to her duty as a troopship during WWII, to her golden days of the 1950’s, to her earning the nickname, the “haunted ship,” the Queen Mary’s history is full of action, adventure and romance.

Catalina Island exudes Mediterranean charm

Catalina Island is a place where the gentle rhythm of the waves makes time slow down. That Catalina feeling of tranquility is better known as Island Time. Santa Catalina Island is unsurpassed in natural beauty, a true island oasis just off the coast of Southern California. Calm clear waters in a Mediterranean setting makes for the ideal escape.  Experience underwater sights from aboard the Sea Wolf semi-submersible expedition.  Come face-to-face with Catalina’s abundant marine life by cruising five feet under water in a spacious, climate-controlled cabin.  Each passengers has their own seat and porthole, plus you are free to roam about the cabin seeking other viewpoints.  Next, take a Jeep Eco Tour where you may encounter bald eagles, Santa Catalina Island fox, ground squirrel and our newly named US landmark mammal, the American bison, along with rare plants and historical sites.  Your guide is a Catalina Island Conservancy naturalist, so you have the best person at your fingertips.  Then you will have some free time on Catalina to relax on the beach or take in one of the many other optional sightseeing tours that are offered in Catalina.

Explore Black Spire Outpost on the Planet Batuu

On the edge of the galaxy, between the Unknown Regions and WildSpace, there is a long-forgotten planet named Batuu. Batuu’s largest village is a settlement known as Black Spire Outpost, which has become a thriving destination for those who would prefer to go about their business unnoticed - scoundrels, rogues, smugglers and, recently, whispers in the woods report sightings of individuals associated with the Resistance.  News of the Resistance has drawn the attention of the First Order, eager to stomp out any remaining flickers of opposition to their absolute control.

Amid this brewing conflict, sits an exotic outpost surrounded by a beautiful landscape dominated by the petrified remains of towering ancient trees, from which Black Spire Outpost draws its name. The modern village is built on the remains of crumbling structures built by a long-extinct civilization.  Now you are invited to visit this beautiful and treacherous village of secrets, built upon secrets.

Drop by the local cantina to sample the indigenous beverages and curious concoctions. Chat with the locals, and meet travelers from across the galaxy. Wander a street market filled with rare and unusual artifacts.  When you’re ready for more adventure, opportunities abound.  Answer the call from local “business man” Hondo Ohnaka to deliver hard-to-find items to a particular clientele aboard a ship in his employ, the famous Millennium Falcon.  After your flight, join up with the Resistance on a secret mission that may find you trapped deep inside the belly of an imposing First Order Star Destroyer.
